Adaptive DC-DC battery charging for use in dual-battery systems – including those with ‘Intelligent’ alternators. Safely charge any 12v or 24v battery from any 12v or 24v alternator. Alternator overload protection; 98.5% efficiency Orion XS has user-configurable input/output current and engine running/shutdown detection to protect the starter battery. Parallelable to increase output current, multiple electronic and temperature protections and an adaptive charge algorithm provide safe, optimized battery charging. The Orion XS 1400 is a new member of the Orion XS  family.
