This charges the inverter's capacitors slowly.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ol\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHow do you use it?\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003col\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eInstall one wire on each side of your system's main battery disconnect switch. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eWith the main disconnect OFF, press and hold the red button in for 5 seconds. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTurn the main disconnect ON.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRelease the red button.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ol\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMobile Solar Consulting's Pre-Charge Resistor is made in-house and comes with 2 x 18awg leads, each a 2.5ft length with a 3\/8\" ring terminal. This is approved for use with 12V and 24V battery systems.
